Sleep Inn & Suites Moundsville - Wheeling

Stayed here for 2 nights and it is a very clean hotel. The service is great and the room was very nice. If you look online for a cheaper price for a room, they will match it so, I got the room for 88 dollars which wasn't too bad. They have plenty of parking and the staff are all very helpful and polite. The only reasons I can't give it 5 stars is because the free breakfast was just ok. The eggs and sausage they made were not up to par but, they did have other food so, we didn't starve. The other thing is that they only had one washer and dryer and it cost 2 dollars for each. A little much just to wash your clothes but, all in all, I would recommend this hotel for all the other services they offer and the fact it is a smoke free hotel.

We (4 of us) have been here for a month with 6 to 8 more weeks to go due to water damage to our home. One of our rooms is an accessible room to meet my husband's disabilities. The accessibility for his wheelchair is fantastic from getting in the room as well navigating throughout the room and bath. The entire hotel is clean at all times, amenities are fantastic, and the staff is beyond kind. So many of the staff feel like friends and family now. They are always kind, helpful, and cheerful. The free breakfast is always fantastic with tons of selections every morning. I so recommend Sleep Inn Moundsville to everyone.

The rooms were nice and clean the staff was great. If we ever got to moundsville again we would definitely stay there. The coffee was really good in the breakfast was good. We stayed in three different hotels the week we were up north and out of all three the moundsville sleep in what's the best.

The hotel location is good. The checkin process was very smooth, the front desk team helped their best. Hotel is clean, somehow my room was not that clean, but we somehow adjusted. Hot breakfast was very good, with different options. The staff was very friendly. Over all it was a good experience.

I rarely write reviews of hotel stays, but I felt called to do this one. I was expecting to have an "ok" experience at the Sleep Inn & Suites (Wheeling). But from the moment I walked in, when Barb at the front desk welcomed me, and even did that by name as if I had been especially expected. Barb was both professional and warm, and I felt glad that I'd chosen this hotel out of the several options for a last minute reservation. The room was clean and neat, the bed very comfortable (the pillows were especially nice), and the desk and table were good for the small amount of work I needed to do. I was staying there on my way home from a trip far north, and specifically stopped to break my trip there so I would be close to the Grave Creek Mound and Museum, and it was certainly convenient to that attraction, but if I'd had more time, the room also had a very well-done booklet with many local attractions I had not known about. This is a trip I need to take a couple times a year, and I now plan to stop again here every now and then to see some of the other attractions, and I will absolutely stay here again. And the reason I give 4 stars to the location is just something nobody can help, which is that it's a bit of an industrial area, so it's not like there's a stunning view, but I did not expect that, and it is not any reflection on the lovely people and hotel that I found inside. Again, I'd like to express my gratitude for the welcome and kindness of Barb at the front desk. She's a credit to the Choice hotel chains.

Convenient location. friendly staff, very clean rooms, nice breakfast accommodations & good food. All around excellent place to stay!
